Students Meet the Firms

On October 20, the Austin CPA Chapter hosted a Students Meet the Firms Networking Event for student members. We also invited non-student members from area schools to find out what TSCPA and the Austin Chapter is all about. We had approximately 35 students join us at Dave & Buster's - many were already TSCPA members, but several signed up that day.

Plenty of food was served and several firms (listed below) were there to answer questions. Several of the firms gave away great prizes like Dave & Busters Power Cards, business gear and Becker CPA Review had a set of their coveted flash cards in the drawing. Prize winners include Autumn Bellfield, Loretta Sanchez, Veronica Reyes, Brent Robins, Mary Riojas, Dion Thornton and Somika Rastogi.
