Scholarship Fundraising Raffle – Tickets Only $20!

The Austin CPA Chapter Scholarship Fundraising Committee has approved another raffle for this year and have great prizes available:

• Grand prize: Trip for Two (valued up to $2500)
• Second Prize: Diamond solitaire necklace ($1500 value)
• Third Prize: 42” Flat Panel TV
• Fourth Prize: Nintendo Wii
• Runner-Up Prizes: Five (5) $50 Visa Gift Cards will be given out as Runner-up Prizes.

Only 1,000 tickets will be printed and the drawing will take place at the January 12, 2010 member meeting at Cool River Cafe.

Raffle Rules

• The purchase price of raffle tickets is $20.00 each.
• All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Austin Chapter TSCPA CPE Foundation Scholarship Fund.
  
• Tickets are currently available for purchase at the Austin CPA Chapter offices, through certain Chapter members and at Chapter events. You may purchase tickets through the Austin CPA Chapter Member Meeting on January 12, 2010.
• You must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets.
• The name of the winner will be made available to the media as requested, and will be displayed on Austin CPA Chapter web site: http://austin.tscpa.org/.
• f after reasonable effort the Austin CPA Chapter is unable to locate the winner for the trip within 30 days of the actual drawing date, an additional raffle ticket will be drawn to determine the new winner.
• Only 1,000 tickets will be available for this raffle. The raffle will be closed at the Austin CPA Chapter Member Meeting on January 12, 2010 or when 1,000 tickets are sold, and all monies and ticket stubs are in the possession of the Austin CPA Chapter, whichever comes first.
• In the event 1,000 tickets are sold, each raffle ticket has a 1-in-1,000 chance of being drawn.
• The winner will be determined by a random drawing. The drawing date will be at the Austin CPA Chapter Member Meeting on January 12, 2010. 
• The winner will assume and be responsible for any local, state or federal taxes on the prize.
