More than 30 area students and candidates attended the Austin CPA Chapter’s networking event at 300 Austin on September 24. The event was graciously sponsored by Lockart Atchley and Associates LLP. Students enjoyed their all-time favorite food, pizza, along with delicious cookies and drinks. Jim Smith, CPA, TSCPA Chairman, spoke to the attendees about the importance of being a CPA and reasons for joining their professional association. After the eating and talking, students, CPAs and staff alike enjoyed 2 games of bowling.
