What
Leadership Development alumni say about the program:
I highly
recommend participating in the Austin Chapter's Leadership
Development Program. Not only does the program provide for
great networking opportunities, but more importantly it
illuminates the role of the state society of CPAs and its
relationship with governing bodies that regulate and monitor
our industry. The chapter designed this program to further
develop the leadership skills of CPAs in the Austin area
and to enrich professional career opportunities. At a reasonable
cost per hour of CPE, it is a win-win for any CPA in the
Austin area. Jesse Dominguez, Austin CPA Chapter
President-elect, TMTA
The
Leadership Development Course was a great experience. I
went for the CPE but got a lot more. I met wonderful people
and became involved in the local chapter and Toastmasters.
The program is well worth attending. Carlie
Case, Austin CPA Chapter Treasurer, St. David’s Healthcare
The
Leadership Development Course offered me the opportunity
to meet other CPAs, to gain a better understanding of TSCPA’s
mission and goals at the state and local levels, to participate
with other members and staff in TSCPA events and earn CPE
credit, too. I highly recommend this program. It’s
a great way to meet other TSCPA/Chapter members and to discover
all the ways you can get involved in our organization. Nancy
Foss, Austin CPA Chapter President, consultant
