Austin CPA Chapter members really
went all out this year to make sure the family we adopted through
SafePlace’s
Holiday Giving Program had a wonderful holiday. The Chapter
adopted a very large family – one mother with seven children.
With all of your help, we were able to give each family member
a new outfit and a pair of shoes. The children also received
two items each that were on their wish list. Our mom was given
a suit in case she needed one for job interviews. Our members
took advantage of our Target wish list, donated money to the
Chapter to purchase items from our wish list and some even donated
directly to SafePlace. They also provided diapers, sheets,
books, general toys and other household goods.
