Nearly 40 ladies attended the Nordstrom fashion
show on August 17 at Barton Creek Mall. St. John was the featured
designer at this event to show us how to take the professional
look during the day and turn it around for a night on the town.
Dr. Brandt and Bobbie Brown also gave demonstrations on looking
fresh from morning till night. The good people at Nordstrom
provided light snacks while we looked at the new fall line.
Some of the fashion tips given to our group
included:

Wear shorter jackets instead of longer ones.
They make you look taller and if you have a larger rear-end,
it will actually make it look smaller when the jacket hits
right above the largest part of the hip.

Always have a nice black dress and black
slacks. You can dress them up or down depending on what
event you have to go to.

Camisoles and jackets are the way to go
this fall.

A good pair of denim jeans is a necessity.
Stretchy denim provides more movement and comfort and comes
in a variety of styles and shapes.
