Team Austin CPA Chapter Counts! made their way to Dell Diamond in Round Rock to participate in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 5K Walk on October 1st. Our team did not make its fundraising goal, but we still did a great job! Online contributions can be made up until the end of the year, so please click here to donate today! Our walkers this year were Nancy Foss, Jan Keeling, Linda Messing, Emma Richardson, Jillian Richardson, Michele Sperry and Kaira Tanwar. These lovely ladies all donned their CPAs Count! t-shirts showing that the Austin CPA Chapter is community-service minded. One gentleman, a recent CPA transplant from Wisconsin, commented on our shirts and said he would check out our website for more information. We also can’t forget to mention our canine friends who supported the JDRF walk – Olive Sperry and Daisy Tanwar stepped up for a cure, too!

We normally would have pictures for this event, but it was too early for our Chapter Event Coordinator. She brought a digital camera, but didn’t check to see if there was a memory stick in it…and there wasn’t. Lucky for us, walk pictures are available online here!
