A fun time was had by all who attended
the 2003 Austin Chapter TSCPA Holiday Party at Carmelo's
on December 3rd. Our guest speaker, Mary
Gordon Spence, delivered such a hilarious speech that
even Scrooge would have left with a smile on his face. The
rest of us left with good cheer and bellies like Santa,
full of lasagna and yummy dessert. University
Federal Credit Union donated door prizes for our group,
including UT basketball tickets, a passbook and a tin of
fudge.
Many
of our members were kind enough to donate toys to Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas. We have over 40 toys available
to give to them and, on top of that, raised over $350 in cash contributions.
On behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters, we thank each and every one of you
for your generosity.
