Casino Night scholarship fund raiser a HUGE success!

Nearly 80 people turned out for the Second Annual Denim to Diamonds Casino Night Scholarship Fundraiser on February 19th. Between Roulette, Craps, Blackjack, Texas Hold’em, good food and a silent auction loaded with different items, everyone found something to enjoy.

We held two simultaneous Texas Hold’em Tournaments that evening. The big winners were Duane Johnson and Aaron Lipstet – each one received a $50 bill for their poker-playing expertise.

Training facility by day, gambling haven by night! Perhaps Wayne Newton and Tom Jones need a new venue.

We advertised the event with “heavy hors d’ouvres”. That was an understatement! A 12 foot table wasn’t enough to handle all of the food – there was enough to make a full meal and more.

Ajay Tanwar and Nathan Verootis use their bluffing skills to outsmart the other players. Did they win? Nope.

33 items were on the auction block for that evening. Over $1000 was earned for scholarship money from the silent auction and people went home with some great deals!

Rebel Quillian, CPA, has her money on the pass line backed up with odds. It looks like she also has some dough on the 6 and 8 with the point on 5. Let’s hope she didn’t roll a 7!
