The
Austin CPA Chapter Toastmasters Club is here to assist you
in improving your communication skills, lose your fear of
public speaking and learn skills that will help you be ore
successful in whatever path you’ve chosen in life.
The club was chartered in July of 2003 and has been growing
ever since.
The
Club is open to anyone interested in improving their communication
skills, and meets twice monthly - the second and fourth
Mondays of the month - at the Austin
Chapter Training Facility from noon to 1pm.
Toastmasters
Intl. formed in 1924 with its goal “to afford practice
and training in the art of public speaking and in presiding
over meetings, and to promote sociability and good fellowship
among its members.” Through its 80-year history, the
curriculum has been constantly updated and improved. Toastmaster
membership is nearly 200,000 strong with over 9,300 clubs
in 80 countries.
